We believe the Bible, in its original documents, is the inspired Word of God and is without any errors in its statements. The Bible is the believer's only infallible rule for faith and practice, (Ps. 19:7-9; 1 Cor. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Pet.1:20, 21).
We believe there is one God, eternally existent, creator of the heavens and earth. Who is manifested in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, (Matt. 28:19. 20; Mark 12:29; John 1:1-14; Acts 5:3,4; 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 John 5:1)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is fully God. He was sinless and perfect, being both God and man, and gave Himself as a substitution sacrifice by shedding His blood and dying no the cross for our sins. He was raised from the dead on the third day and is enthroned at the right hand of God the Father, (Luke 1:34, 35; 24:27; John 1:1,2; 14, 18; Rom. 3:24-26, 8:34).
We believe that God is absolutely sovereign and in His sovereignty gives man a free will to accept or reject the salvation that He has provided. It is God's will that all should be saved and that none should perish, (John 3:18, 36; Matt 26:28; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Tim. 2:4).
We believe that each member of the human race is fallen, sinful and lost, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of man. We further believe that a person must confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe that He died for our sins and God has raised Him from the dead. We are saved by the gift of God's grace through faith. The moment a person repents of his sins and receives Christ as his personal Savior, he is then saved by God's grace through faith. The Holy Spirit immediately indwells the believer, who is sealed until the day of redemption, (Rom. 1:17, 2:4, 3:23. 6:23; Luke 3:3, 13:5, 18:9-14; Eph. 2:8, 9; 1 Thes. 1:9; Acts 13:39; 1 Cor. 1:30; Titus 3:4-7; 1 Pet. 1:23).
We believe that the Church is composed of all true believers. By the Holy Spirit we are all baptized into the one Body of Christ, (Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:42-47; 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 1:22, 23).
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return to earth to receive all believers unto Himself. There will be a resurrection of the saved and of the lost - of the saved, to life eternal; of the lost, to eternal conscious punishment, (2 cor. 5:19; 1 Thes. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:1-6, 11-15).
We Value...
the church as a family - We want an atmosphere that facilitates personal growth and learning while encouraging one another to live out our faith across each generation.
people over programs – We are not trying to duplicate someone else’s program. We see every individual as God’s creation with unique gifts and talents that are best nurtured through thoughtful ministry that values what everyone has to contribute.
healthy relationships – The church is made up of people, all different kinds of people. Being called to love one another challenges us towards radical acceptance, forgiveness and mercy. To love God means we love each other.
a lifestyle of worship – Worship is not just about songs and Sundays. We embrace a relaxed, open environment to praise God. Yet we strive to go further, incorporating worship into our lives. Giving back to God using the gifts, talents and experience He has given us to serve Him.
lifelong learning - As faith is a journey, we embrace the process of learning and growing daily. Giving grace because we all will makes mistakes along the way. Giving encouragement because we need each other.
